Celtic Stories and Song

The La Crosse Storytelling Festival

The 22nd annual festival will be held on Friday and Saturday July 18, 19. Our featured tellers will be Bil Lepp, Charlotte Blake Alston, and Jim May. Doors open at 6:00 on Friday and 11:00 on Saturday. Tickets will be available at the Pump House.http://thepumphouse.org

Tales of the Creepy and Scary

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Bluff Country Tale Spinners will again share their creepy stories at the Pump House. Join us for a night of fun and fright. Doors open at 6:30 and the show will begin at 7:00. Tickets will be available at http://thepumphouse.org

Monthly Meetings!!

Host of the La Crosse Storytelling Festival, the Bluff Country Tale Spinners, is a local guild whose mission is to encourage the art of storytelling. BCTS meet the second Thursday of each month at the Moose Lodge on Ward Avenue in La Crosse at 6:30. There is a short business meeting followed by stories. All level of tellers are welcome as are story listeners. If desired, tellers are given feedback on their stories in a warm and welcoming environment.
