There will be several storytelling events in the La Crosse area this spring. The Bluff Country Tale Spinners will be in Westby on May 18 for Syttende Mai. They will also be telling stories for kids at Myrick Park on May 16, 17, 23, 24. Schools reserve times for these performances but parents can arrange to attend with their children by contacting Mary at marycepek@acegroup.cc. ($2.00 per person). Our local tellers will be on two stages at Artspire on June 8. There will be a children’s performance in the morning and a performance of Norse stories in the Black Box at the Weber Center. The Bluff Country Tale Spinners hold their meetings at 7:00 the second Thursday of each month at the King Street Kitchen. After a brief meeting, attendees share their stories. Story listeners are needed and welcome!
